Urban roots/soul duo Kalala/Diego has hit the ground running after it's conception in mid 2018. The pair draws from their New Zealand, Salvadoran and Australian roots to create music that speaks to your heart and touches your soul.

With the debut EP 'Good Luck Omen' set to be released in December, the band is already in high demand - playing shows in Melbourne and Brisbane in venues such as Section 8 and the Worker's Club, supporting acts such as Pataphysics and Michaela Jayde.

The next show is part of Melbourne Music Week on November 23rd at the Star of Melbourne.

- The tracks have all been recorded for Columbian musician extraordinaire, Jose Nieto's new project. Film shoot booked for late October.

- The 50-piece Copic Marker series is done and ready to be exhibited!

- Pataphysics had a great time performing at the 2018 Caloundra Music Fetival on September 30th alongside heroes Arrested Development and friends Fulton Street.

- The talented Lauren Schade and I are putting together a Disney show! Rehearsals are sounding great and it's set to debut in Nov/Dec.

The Instagram Inktober Challenge has rolled around once again. It's a good opportunity to have fun with different ink-based artforms. These include brush and ink, coloured Copic Markers, inkbrush pens, ball-point pens, felt-tip pens and even tattoos!

After a successful tour in Thailand revolving around a headline slot at the 2017 Phuket UNESCO International Jazz Festival, we've gone into the studio here in Melbourne and recorded the works for this odd and super fun trio. We're currently in the editing/mixing stage with release set for later in the year.

While at the festival we managed to do some great collaborative performances, both live and in the studio, with great artists from Singapore, the UK, China, Mauritius and of course Thailand. It's now looking good for some future cross-national work in the near future.
